1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Addonry ("Platform", "we", "our", or "us"), accessible via addonry.com and related APIs. These Terms of Service and Terms of Sale ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between Addonry and you ("User", "Customer", or "you").

By registering an account, purchasing individual digital products, activating a subscription membership, connecting a WordPress site via the Addonry Manager plugin, or downloading packages, you expressly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy.

2. Licensing, Redistribution & Intellectual Property

2.1 The GNU General Public License (GPL)

All WordPress plugins and themes distributed through Addonry are open-source software licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL v2 or later) or compatible copyleft licenses. Under the terms of the GPL, anyone has the legal right to run, study, share, and redistribute the software code.

2.2 Scope of What You Are Purchasing

When you purchase a product or membership on Addonry, you are paying for our curation, malware verification, SHA-256 integrity hashing, Cloudflare R2 infrastructure delivery, and automated update management services. You are not purchasing proprietary copyright ownership of third-party software.

• No License Keys: You do not receive an official author license key. License keys are proprietary mechanisms used by original authors to control direct access to their private support forums and proprietary cloud servers. The GPL software code itself is fully functional without a key.
• No Author Support: Direct technical support from the original plugin developer is not included. Addonry provides platform-level support (download delivery, ZIP extraction integrity, and manager plugin connectivity).
• No Proprietary Cloud Services: Cloud-hosted services operated by original vendors (such as proprietary AI endpoints, remote template cloud syncs, or proprietary CDNs) are not part of the GPL code and are excluded.

3. Account Registration & Security

To access purchases or memberships, you must register an account with a valid email address and secure password. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

• Accounts are strictly for individual or single-business use. Sharing credentials, reselling access, or utilizing multi-user pooling is strictly prohibited.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts immediately upon detecting automated scraping, credential sharing, or abusive download patterns.

4. Commercial Terms: Purchases, Memberships & Quotas

4.1 One-Time Purchases

Individual product purchases grant you perpetual download access to the selected product and all future versions published on Addonry for that item, subject to platform availability and active account status.

4.2 Subscription Memberships

Memberships provide access to download any eligible item in the Addonry catalog during an active billing cycle, subject to your plan's daily quota limits.

• Billing Cycle: Memberships are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) in advance via Stripe.
• Automatic Renewal: Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Self-Service Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time directly through your Account Billing settings or the Stripe Customer Portal. Upon cancellation, your membership remains active until the end of the current paid billing period. We do not issue prorated or partial refunds for unused days.
• Effect of Expiry: When a subscription expires, automated updates through the Addonry Manager plugin cease. Any GPL plugins or themes already installed on your WordPress websites will continue to function normally and will never be remotely disabled.

4.3 Daily Download Quotas (BR-MEM-003)

To protect infrastructure bandwidth and ensure fair availability for all members, subscriptions enforce a daily unique-product download quota:

• Quotas are measured in unique products downloaded per UTC calendar day (from 00:00:00 UTC to 23:59:59 UTC).
• Downloading multiple versions or repeatedly downloading the same product within the same UTC day counts as one (1) quota consumption.
• Unused quota credits expire at 00:00:00 UTC each day and do not roll over or accumulate.
• Attempting to bypass quota limitations through automated scripts or distributed tokens will result in immediate permanent account termination without refund.

5. Download Delivery & Security Pipeline

All file downloads are processed through single-use, time-limited cryptographic download grants streamed from private Cloudflare R2 object storage.

• No Public URLs: Packages are never served from permanent, unauthenticated, or public URLs.
• Security Inspection: Before any package is published to the catalog, it undergoes our security pipeline including ClamAV malware scanning, ZIP structural validation, and SHA-256 checksum verification.

6. WordPress Manager Plugin & Device Authorization

The Addonry Manager plugin enables streamlined one-click installations and updates from within your WordPress administrative dashboard.

• Site linking occurs via cryptographic OAuth-style device authorization. Your account password is never transmitted to or stored in your WordPress installation.
• Data Privacy Commitment: The Manager plugin strictly inspects installed plugin and theme slugs to check for available updates. It never reads, collects, or transmits your website content, customer data, orders, database tables, or administrative passwords.

7. Acceptable Use Policy & Account Termination

You agree not to:

• Use automated bots, headless browsers, or scrapers to harvest catalog data or bulk-download files.
• Distribute or share Addonry device tokens or download session cookies with third parties.
• Reverse engineer, probe, or attempt to compromise our download gateway, authentication handlers, or Cloudflare edge protections.
• Initiate fraudulent chargebacks or payment disputes without prior good-faith communication with our support team.

Violation of these rules results in immediate account suspension, revocation of all active sessions, and forfeiture of unused membership time.

IN NO EVENT SHALL ADDONRY, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, CORRUPTION OF DATABASE RECORDS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM OR DOWNLOADED SOFTWARE.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY SHALL BE STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO ADDONRY IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY US DOLLARS ($50.00 USD).

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When material updates are made, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this document. Continued use of Addonry after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
